Khalil is a Cisco Distinguished Engineer and has been with Cisco for over 16 years. He has been focused on Data Center and Borderless Network architecture and design as well Data Center Interconnect (DCI).   Khalil’s background is routing and switching with a heavy focus on MPLS/VPLS, QoS, and multicast.

Throughout Khalil’s career he has worked with many customers on many complex designs. Also he is an innovator and has contributed to multiple innovative solutions and capabilities. He holds a number of patents.
