SOCIAL IMPACT AT CISCO LIVE

Be a part of the movement to accelerate global problem solving.

WHY SOCIAL IMPACT

Our social impact mission at Cisco Live is to amplify Cisco’s commitment to accelerate global problem solving through technology and expertise, and to positively impact people, society, and the planet.

Our activities tie into Cisco’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) priorities and our goal to positively impact 1 billion people by 2025. At Cisco Live 2019, thanks to the help and support of our participants, we were able to help disadvantaged children improve their social skills, learning and development through the use of Skateboards which you helped design and build. Read below for more information on how you can help us make social change happen. We have a whole host of daily activities for you to enjoy and get involved in.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Cisco’s Global CSR Mission is to make a measurable impact on people, society, and the planet. Part of this mission is to address the plight of the homeless and refugees who many times are one and the same people.

This year we are proud to be partnering with o3e once again to bring you another exciting Give Back activity which we hope you are going to enjoy. Your challenge this year is to help us build 50 bikes which will be donated to homeless and refugee programs in Barcelona. Mobility is key for school, medical appointments, work, and attending essential services. These bikes will provide a valuable service to help support those who have found themselves displaced, to find work, stay healthy and rebuild their lives.

Help us to achieve our goal of building 50 bikes during Cisco Live 2020, Barcelona. We can only achieve this with your help, so please join us at ‘Build a Bike’ which is located in the Park.

Thank you!

We would like to say a big thank you to all those who participated in the Skateboard Factory at Cisco Live 2019. Thanks to your support, last year we were able to donate over 150 skateboards that you decorated and constructed. The skateboards were donated to 3 different charities to help disadvantaged children improve their social skills, learning and development.
