Cisco Live EMEA is driving change in the industry with your help. We strive to create a more environmentally conscious event through replicable processes that we can improve year after year. Following our sustainability efforts in 2024, we will continue to work with our suppliers, partners and stakeholders to reduce our environmental impact by tracking our carbon emissions using an independent tracking portal. Cisco Live is designed with sustainability in mind so that all our event elements can be re-used, re-purposed or recycled. This is supported by a robust Waste Management program that helps us identify items that can be donated to charity, re-used at future events or recycled by a recognized recycling program.
Each year Cisco Live strives to make a positive impact on our destination communities. At Cisco Live 2024 we also donated nearly 700 household items to local communities and donated over 700 kgs of food to the Salvation Army.
We have made some of our items fully circular for the first time. Astro turf from the World of Solutions has been used to cover seating in the Meeting Village, and we have turned last year’s graphics into unique tote bags. These bags are limited edition and available to buy in the Cisco Store with all proceeds going to three Netherlands based charities:
For Cisco Live 2025, we will continue to work with our donation and sustainability team to ensure that we continue to reduce, reuse and repurpose all items we use at Cisco Live.
