About Cisco Live Accounts and Registration

Cisco Live accounts can be created by registering for an in-person event or joining CiscoLive.com/global for free. Your account will give you access to on-demand sessions and live webcasts.

Joining CiscoLive.com/global does not register you for an in-person event.

To register for a specific in-person event, go to the event site – Cisco Live U.S.Cisco Live EMEACisco Live LATAMCisco Live Melbourne.

If you registered for an in person event first, your event credentials will also give you access to online content. Past event attendees also automatically have access to on-demand content.

Choosing Your Registration Type

I’m a first time attendee and want to register for an in-person event and then access the sessions on-demand afterwards
Register and pay for an event through an event site – Cisco Live U.S., Cisco Live EMEA, Cisco Live LATAM, Cisco Live Melbourne. Your access to sessions on-demand is complementary.

I am already a member of CiscoLive.com/global or CiscoLive.com/online but now I want to register for an event, do I need a new account?
You do not need a new account. Go to an event site and register – the system will recognize you through your email address.

CiscoLive.com/global

CiscoLive.com/global is the access portal to all Cisco Live sites and the location of all on-demand content (replacing CiscoLive.com/online).

CiscoLive.com/global hosts the on-demand session library and webcasts as well as live broadcasts from event sites. You can search for particular sessions via filters on the On-Demand Library page. Visit the Online Events agenda to learn about upcoming webcasts and broadcasts.

Favorites

You can add a session to your favorites list by clicking the star. Click the box next to “Show Favorites Only” in the search area to view your favorites list. Sessions can be added to your favorites list for ease of reference for future viewing.

Issues with Usernames and Passwords

If you have forgotten your credentials, go to this page and click Forgot Password.

You will receive an email with a temporary password. You can then select your desired password when you log in. If you receive a “There is no user for this email” error, you will need to create a new account.

If you were able to use the Forgot Password functionality, and you did not receive the email with your temporary password, please check your spam filters for the email. If you still do not find this email, please email us at ciscolive@cisco.com.

Updating your Information

You can update your information from the Account Settings page on CiscoLive.com/global located in the top right corner dropdown. You will need to be logged in to see this dropdown.

If you need to update your password, go to this page and click Forgot Password.

My History

As of 11/1/17, the My History page is temporarily unavailable.

The My History page on CiscoLive.com/global shows the on-demand viewing and event session history for the account currently logged in. If you have account questions, please contact us at ciscolive@cisco.com.

If you have not viewed any on-demand sessions yet or attended an in-person Cisco Live conference. Please visit the on-demand library to watch session videos.

Interests

As of 11/1/17, Interests are currently unavailable. Your previously saved Interests will be available again soon.

Cisco Live Event Content

Conference PDFs
Session PDFs for each event will be available during the event in the Session Catalog (Content Catalog for EU, Session Scheduler for Melbourne). Session PDFs will be added to CiscoLive.com/global after the event has concluded. Cisco Live Cancun session PDFs will only be available post event and will not be in the event Session Catalog.

Keynotes
Keynotes are often available as early as 24 hours after broadcast. Keynotes do not have PDFs.

Missing PDFs
Most sessions presented at an event will contain a PDF. PDFs that are not currently available will be updated as they are received. Please check back for updates.

Technical Seminars (TEC)
Conference TEC PDFs will be available on event Session Catalogs during the event and on CiscoLive.com/global after the event as finished. TEC PDFs are only viewable to those who purchased them.

Videos and Live Events

Viewing Live Events
Live broadcasts of global Cisco Live events are viewable from the home page. You do not need an account to view these broadcasts. Broadcast details are published to the Online Events page several weeks before the event.

Video Availability
Videos are usually available within a few weeks after a live event. Check the home page announcements for more information. While we do record a large number of sessions, not all sessions are recorded. Check back as the session may be recorded at another event in the future.

Note: TEC and LAB sessions are NOT recorded, as these are paid sessions meant to be delivered in-person.

Finding and Viewing Sessions with Videos
On the On-Demand Library search page, you can filter Video on Demand sessions by selecting “Featured > Sessions with video” on the left side. Click the title of the session you would like to view. The session details page will open. Click the link to the left of the session detail in the Watch Session section.  For mobile users, this information will appear below the session detail. Not all sessions have video. You can further refine your search by selecting various filters on the left.

Note: You must log in to watch videos or download PDFs.

Issues with Video Playback
If you are having issues playing back a video, please ensure that any adblockers are turned off.

Video Downloads
Audio and video files are not available for download. PDFs are available for download.

Search Tools

Visit the On-demand Library page and input a search or phrase and click the Search icon. You can also use the filters on the left to narrow the results. The filters and search box can be used separately or together. You can remove filter options from the search by clicking the x next to the filter name located below the search box.
