Preparing for Cisco Live 2022

Cisco Live 2022 will be taking place in person in Las Vegas, Nevada, and we look forward to coming back together to build community and share experiences.

We have put several Health & Safety protocols in place for our Las Vegas attendees. Our protocols are based on several factors, including official government guidance, medical data privacy, and specific event considerations. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. As we approach the event date, the Cisco Live Health & Safety policy is subject to change.

Before you leave home:

  1. US & Canada attendees only - Speed up your event check-in and download the CLEAR mobile app. This is a free and easy option to validate your vaccination documentation. See how simple the process is.
  2. ALL attendees outside the US and Canada, and those who prefer to not use CLEAR - bring your vaccine documentation, either a hard copy or legible digital copy, with you to have your vaccine status validated by event officials onsite. Be sure to have a matching government ID, too.
  3. Review the Health & Safety protocols below.
  4. If you have cold or flu-like symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, please stay home, get well, and join us online.

COVID-19 Vaccination Required

  • Attendees joining the in-person event in Las Vegas will need to be fully vaccinated, no exceptions
  • A person is considered fully vaccinated: fourteen days after their second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or fourteen days after a single-dose vaccine, such as the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines), and COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin, Covovax, and Nuvaxovid). The full list of vaccines with final WHO EUL/PQ evaluation status is available here.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

  • All event attendees must have their vaccination status validated in order to pick up their Cisco Live badge.
    • Cisco Live has partnered with CLEAR to collect proof of vaccination for US and Canada based attendees. CLEAR’s Health Pass in their free mobile app offers a quick and easy option to capture your vaccination information. We strongly recommend US and Canada attendees take advantage of this option to make check-in faster and easier. Attendees who choose this option will need to show their CLEAR Health Pass validation, plus a matching government, issued ID to receive their Cisco Live event badge. Get download instructions.
    • Attendees from outside the US and Canada, and those US and Canada attendees who prefer not to use CLEAR, can use their vaccine documentation to validate their status. See approved vaccines here. Bring a hard copy, or a legible digital copy, and a matching government issued ID, to show event officials at the Cisco Live registration check-in.
  • If you are joining from the EU, please note Cisco Live requires proof of vaccination as per definition provided above. Please ensure that your EU COVID certificate shows your vaccination type, number of doses and the date(s) of your doses, and that your name on the certificate matches your government ID.

COVID-19 Testing Onsite

  • Cisco Live recommends attendees have a negative COVID-19 test result within 24 hours prior to arriving in Las Vegas.
  • Cisco Live will provide complimentary COVID-19 self-tests to registered attendees upon request. We recommend attendees to self-test for COVID-19 before entering the event venue, and to complete a second test 24-48 hours after.
  • Cisco Live will provide complimentary PCR testing onsite for international attendees who require a test result to travel back to their destination. Documentation of outbound international travel within 72 hours will be required to be eligible to receive your complimentary test.

Onsite Health & Safety Measures

  • Face coverings are not currently required within Las Vegas per local government/health authority requirements. Face coverings are recommended by Cisco to prioritize the health and safety of all attendees.
  • Cisco Live will have reduced venue capacities and practice social distancing, where feasible.
  • Throughout the event and venue, enhanced cleaning will be completed, and additional sanitizing stations will be offered.
  • Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center has established their own Health and Safety Commitment for the safety and well-being of their guests. Learn more about their commitment which includes enhanced air quality efforts and digital innovations to offer contactless guest experiences.

Travel

  • Cisco recommends all attendees and staff comply with travel guidelines issued by the World Health Organization when traveling to Las Vegas for Cisco Live 2022.
