ACCOUNT SUPPORT

Cisco Live Cancun can be accessed with the same username and password you use on Cisco.com. If you do not have a Cisco.com OneIdentity account you can create one when you register for CiscoLive.com/latam.

If you previously had a CiscoLive.com login but used a different email to register for Cisco OneIdentity, contact ciscolive@cisco.com to have your accounts connected (after you have completed registration for the event).

How do I register for the event if I do not have a Cisco OneIdentity account?

  • Click on a Register Now button from the Registration Packages page.
  • You will be sent to the Cisco OneIdentity Sign In page.
  • Click on the Create Account button.
  • Fill out the Cisco OneIdentity form and click Register.
  • You will receive an on-screen confirmation that an activation email has been sent.
  • You will be sent an email to activate your OneIdentity account. (See next steps for new account activation)

How do I activate my new account?

  • You will be sent a verification email to the email address you used when creating your account.
  • Click the "Verify email" button in the email to activate your account.

When I try to log in, I am told that one or part of my credentials do not match our records. What reasons can cause this?

  • Your email or password is incorrect.
  • Your account is not activated. Check for your spam or junk mail for the activation email.
  • Your account is locked or suspended.
  • You do not have a Cisco OneIdentity account.

If I suspect my Cisco OneIdentity account is locked or suspended, who do I contact?

You can email support at web-help@cisco.com.

Will my previous Cisco Live username and password still work?

No, Cisco Live credentials will no longer work on CiscoLive.com/latam. You must log in with your Cisco OneIdentity username and password.

Can the email address tied to my account use special characters?

Yes, you may use any of these special characters in front of the @ sign in your email address: 

  • ! # $ % & ‘ * + – / = ? ^ _ ` { | } ~ .

You may use any of these special characters after the @ sign in your email address:

  • hyphen (-), period (.)

I created a new account and the site said it sent me an email to activate my account but I did not receive it.  What should I do?

Check your spam or junk mail folder to see if it was sent there. If you did not receive the email, contact support at web-help@cisco.com.

I already have a Cisco OneIdentity account. Can I use that to register?

Yes, you can use that account to register for Cisco Live Cancun.

I don’t have a Cisco OneIdentity account. How do I create one?

Click on a Register Now button from the Registration Packages page and then click the Create Account button.

Will my event credentials work on CiscoLive.com?

Yes, your Cisco OneIdentity username and password will also work to access on-demand content.

UPDATING YOUR CISCO LIVE PROFILE

You can update your Cisco Live Cancun information by logging in to your Cisco Live Registration.

 

UPDATING YOUR CISCO ONEIDENTITY PROFILE

Some personal information can only be edited by updating your Cisco OneIdentity profile. You will need to log back in to Cisco Live for your OneIdentity edits to appear. Choose the one of the following links to edit your information:

PASSWORDS

I’ve forgotten my password.  Where can I reset it?

  • Click on a Register Now button from the Registration Packages page.
  • You will be sent to the Cisco OneIdentity Sign In page.
  • Enter in your username or email address and click the "Next" button.
  • Click the "Forgot Password?" link underneath the "Sign In" button.
  • Choose your preferred password recovery method. (Options may include via email or via phone.)
  • If you chose via email, you will be sent an email with a temporary link to reset your password.
  • From the email, click the "Reset password" button. (This link is only valid for 24 hours.)
  • Choose a new password and click the "Update" button.
  • Click the "Sign In" button from the confirmation screen.
  • To register for the event, click on a Register Now button from the Registration Packages page, log in with your Cisco OneIdentity credentials and proceed through the Cisco Live registration process.

What are the password requirements that I should follow to create strong passwords?

  • Passwords much contain:
    • One uppercase character
    • One lowercase character
    • One number
  • Passwords much be a minimun of 8 characters and a maximum of 60 characters.
  • No special characters can be used except the following: at sign (@), period (.), hyphen (-), underscore (_)

Where can I add my mobile number so I can receive forgot password notifications via phone?

In your Cisco OneIdentity account Profile Management, you can add a recovery number under the Security settings tab. Choose the one of the following links to edit your information:

I have not received the email to reset my password. What should I do?

  • Check your spam or junk mail filter to see if it was sent there.
  • If you do not have a Cisco OneIdentity account, you will need to create one.

I need my password reset email resent to me. How can I do that?

  • If you still have your on-screen confirmation that an email has been sent with a link to reset your password open, you can click the "Resend Email" link.
  • If you do not have your confirmation screen still open, you can go through the password reset process again.
  • If you continue to have issues receiving your password reset email, please contact support at web-help@cisco.com.
