BRKUCC-2801 - Enabling Federation and External Collaboration with Expressway (2016 Berlin) - 2 Hours

Session Description

Cisco Expressway offers a remote access alternative to VPN, federation capabilities, and a platform for connecting hybrid cloud services into the enterprise. Expressway provides secure firewall traversal for Cisco Jabber soft clients, IP Phones and Telepresence endpoints allowing for access to collaboration services deployed on the enterprise network from anywhere. Cisco Expressway has strong roots in providing open video federation, connecting enterprise networks to one another or to cloud services. This role now extends to include support for standards based Instant Messaging and Presence federation and hybrid services for the Cisco Collaboration Cloud. Participants will receive design guidance including deployment options, limitations, best practices, required software versions, and security considerations. Bring your questions and be prepared to have a good time learning all the latest details about what Expressway can enable for your organization’s collaboration needs.
