It is mandatory for speakers to stop by Speaker Services 24 hours prior to their first session start time to do a final check of your presentation. Please bring your final presentation file with you. Once your presentation is checked, you will receive your event materials.
Ensure your final presentation is loaded onto the show laptops and allow enough time for the PowerPoint to be converted to a PDF for attendees to download prior to your session.
Allow you to confirm additional requested AV equipment.
Offer a time to ask the content team and AV team any questions.

Technical Seminars
San Diego Convention Center rooms are available for testing starting at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7. Testing needs to be completed on Saturday, June 7 as all Technical Seminars are scheduled for Sunday, June 8. Follow the Wristband pick-up process to gain access to the event areas. Wristbands will be distributed at San Diego Convention Center, Hall E Lobby.
Instructor-led Labs
All labs are held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Lab rooms for Sunday labs are available for testing on Saturday, June 7 after 1:30 p.m. If you are presenting a lab later in the week, please check-in at Speaker Services to coordinate a time.
Join fellow speakers and SGMs for a beverage and some bites as we kick off the week. Come celebrate as we induct our new Hall of Fame and Hall of Fame Elite speakers! Please pick up your conference badge before coming to reception, as they will check badges at the door.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your session start time.
Inform the room monitors of your arrival. There will also be an AV tech in each room to troubleshoot AV needs and answer any questions you may have.
Please remove your badge during your presentation, so that it doesn't interfere with the microphone.
Turn off cell phones.
If your room is filling up rapidly, please encourage attendees to move in from the edges to the center of the room so everyone has a seat.
Allow 10 minutes for Q&A at the end of your session. Always repeat the question before answering.
Finish your presentation on time. Each confidence monitor will have a speaker timer to help speakers know of their remaining time. Leave laser pointer and wireless mic for the next speaker.
Also remember to:
Bring a jacket. Rooms in San Diego can get cold.
Bring a water bottle. This year we will not have bottled water or plastic cups available.
Wear comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking!
Participate in Meet the Engineer Meetings.
Bring your headphones. Specific theaters at Cisco Live will only be streaming audio through the Cisco Events App instead of in the theater. Learn more
As you open and close your session, remind attendees to complete their evaluations. Remind them they will earn points in the Cisco Live Challenge for surveys completed.
Attendees will have two ways to complete their evaluations: They can log in to their Attendee Dashboard to access or directly in the Cisco Events app. A session survey will be available in the Cisco Events App under “My Surveys” once you scan into a session. The overall conference survey will be posted on Wednesday morning. Surveys will be available through Friday, June 13.

Reminder: Speakers are responsible to monitor the dedicated spaces for Breakouts, Interactive Breakouts, DevNet sessions, Customer Success Stories, Product or Strategy Overviews, Technical Seminars, and Instructor-led Labs through Friday, June 13.
NEW Speaker shirts for 2025!
Short-sleeve button down camp shirts will be provided for each day you speak in a session and distributed at Speaker Services. Black pants, skirts, khakis, or dark jeans with no holes are allowed. Speakers must wear their designated speaker shirt on the days they present. On any other day onsite, you may wear business casual clothing. Please be sure to always wear your badge during the conference and in front of customers.
Details of your hotel reservation are in the Attendee Dashboard. Please call your hotel directly if you need to make changes to your reservation.

To gain access to the San Diego Convention Center (SDCC), Cisco Live registrants and guests must show their government-issued photo ID to pick up your event badge. You will not be allowed access without a photo ID, even if an event package has been purchased. All Cisco Live attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

As an IT Leadership attendee, you will see a small wearable beacon located on the back of your badge. This device sends a unique signal allowing the event to view traffic patterns to enhance the attendee experience. Please note: this does not extend outside of the Marriott Grand Ballroom and Foyer where the IT Leadership sessions are occurring, and we will not share information with any 3rd party.
You must wear a Cisco Live badge at all times to access the conference, including at evening social events. If you lose or misplace your Cisco Live badge, there will be a $100 fee to reprint your badge and a $100 fee for a new Cisco Live lanyard. For further assistance, go to Main Registration in SDCC – Lobby D for assistance.

It is a Cisco Live Celebration like no other! Get prepared for an unforgettable night in the historic San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
Pick up your Cisco Live Celebration wristband before heading to the party. It is your “ticket” into the event. Conference badges will not grant you access, and wristbands will not be available at the Cisco Live Celebration. The replacement fee for lost wristbands is $245. All guests must be 21 years of age or older.

At Cisco Live, we work hard to implement sustainable practices. This year we will not have bottled water or plastic cups available. Instead, we encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle so you can fill it at our water stations.
Cisco Live shuttles will operate daily Saturday through Thursday between the San Diego Convention Center and select conference hotels.
Use the Shuttle Map and Schedule (PDF) to find participating hotels and pick up locations. Details are also included in the Cisco Events App under “Helpful Info”.
The Cisco Live Celebration shuttle will run continuously Wednesday, June 11 from 7:15 – 11:30 p.m.
Shuttle drop off and pick up for the Cisco Live Celebration will be at the main driveway for the SDCC. Follow signage to the pedestrian bridge over Harbor Drive to enter Petco Park through the Home Plate Entrance.
Cisco Live provides wireless internet access in the convention center spaces of the San Diego Convention Center, Marriott Marquis, and the Hilton Bayfront. The Cisco Live wireless network has been fully migrated to the 5GHz spectrum to guarantee the best performance for our attendees. Wireless coverage maps and performance data are also presented at the Cisco Live Network Operations Center (NOC).
