The National Industry Innovation Network (NIIN) is a collective of universities and companies driven by one goal: to leverage the power of digital to create benefit for Australia. Based at NUS’ Kent Ridge campus, the Cisco-NUS Accelerated Digital Economy Corporate Laboratory was established with investment over five years, and is supported by the National Research Foundation Singapore (NRF Singapore).
The Cisco-NUS Corporate Laboratory showcases how our joint R&D is accelerating Singapore's Digital Economy. We're pioneering advancements in benchmarking Large Language Models (LLMs), developing privacy-preserving Wi-Fi sensing for optimised workspaces, pioneering research in 5G security, enabling network and intelligent infrastructure for healthcare in the hospital and developing network-enabled urban solutions, leveraging real-time traffic monitoring and predictive AI for enhanced safety and optimised flow!

Cisco Networking Academy instructors from across Australia had the opportunity to nominate their top students to represent their academy at Cisco Live as part of the Dream Team. The Dream Team gets a unique development opportunity to work hands-on with industry leaders to deploy and support the event Network Operations Centre (NOC). The Dream Team opportunity has become a vital element to the success of Cisco Live, demonstrating quality IT talent and helping deliver a positive experience for our attendees. The 2025 Dream Team is comprised of 12 academy students.
