Badge Requirement

You must wear a Cisco Live conference badge at all times for access to Cisco Live. If you lose or misplace your Cisco Live badge, there will be a $100 fee to reprint your badge, and a $100 fee for a new Cisco Live lanyard. Go to the Main Registration in MCEC for assistance.

  • For security purposes, you will be required to show photographic identification, such as your passport or driver’s license, in order for your badge to be issued. Please carry this identification with you for the duration of the event as it may be required for an identity check when re-entering the event space on subsequent days.
  • Your event badge must be clearly displayed at all times during the event.
  • Transferring or sharing badges with others is not permitted.
  • All Cisco Live attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

 

Badge Scanning

Throughout the event at Cisco Live, representatives from Cisco and its subsidiaries (collectively “Cisco”) and Partners will have badge scanning devices. Badge scanning is optional. When your badge is scanned by Cisco or Partner representatives, they will receive your contact details associated with your contact badge and may send you information about their products and services. By letting your badge be scanned, you agree to allow Cisco or the partner to contact you. You will be subject to their respective communications and privacy policies and will have to communicate with them directly if you later decide to modify your preferences. Wellness and Recharge Zone - Charge your devices, snuggle with therapy dogs, re-fuel your body with our healthy selection of fresh fruits and fruit kebabs and enjoy energising refreshments from Boost Juice. Located in the main foyer.

Quiet Zone - Unwind in relaxing massage chairs and step back from the hustle and bustle of the event to immerse yourself in a VR escape to an ocean paradise. Located in the main foyer.

Water - At Cisco Live, we work hard to implement sustainable practices.  We will be offering you a refillable water bottle so you can fill it at our water stations. Water bottles are first-come, first-served.

Webex app

We invite you to join dedicated Webex spaces, available for most sessions at Cisco Live. You can collaborate with your session presenters and peers to get important announcements, engage in conversation, and share information.

To join Webex spaces, you’ll need a Webex account. If you don’t yet have one, download the free Webex app to set up your profile. Please be sure to use the email address you used to register for Cisco Live. Find session spaces in the Session Catalogue in the Cisco Events App.

Wireless access

Cisco Live provides wireless internet access in the convention centre spaces of MCEC. The Cisco Live wireless network has been fully migrated to the 5GHz spectrum to guarantee the best performance for our attendees. Wireless coverage maps and performance data are also presented at the Cisco Live NOC. Automatically onboard via the Cisco Events App using Cisco Spaces OpenRoaming, or manually join with the following:

Session Schedule and Attendance

Be sure to schedule your sessions before arriving onsite to guarantee a spot in the session. Find your schedule on our website, or in the Cisco Events App. Plan to arrive at your scheduled session no later than 15 minutes prior to start. We will start accommodating standby attendees on a first-come, first-served basis 5 minutes before the session officially starts.

Session Presentation PDFs

Presentation PDFs will be uploaded to session catalogue and the Cisco Events App from November 11-14. Technical Seminars (TEC) presentations will only be available in the session catalogue for those who have purchased the session on Monday, November 11. Visit the Cisco Live On-Demand Library and view all sessions shortly after the event.

Session Surveys

Let us know about your session. Fill out four (4) session surveys and the overall conference survey from the Cisco Events App to receive a limited edition Cisco T-shirt*. Visit the Cisco merchandise stand to collect your gift. *T-shirt size upon collection is subject to availability, and on first-come first-served basis.

Certifications

The Cisco Certification Testing Centre will be open throughout the week. Attendees will have access to all written exams, from Associate to Core/Professional and across all technologies, including Networking, Software (DevNet), and CyberOps.

Complimentary Certification exam* is open to Full Conference, Full Conference PLUS, IT Leadership and Explorer pass holders.
